Your Role

As Head of Human Resources, you will be the first dedicated professional to grow the talent and culture aspects of our bank. You will work with the executive team to build a world-class organization consistent with the goals of the bank.

To be successful in the role, the Head of Human Resources will develop an understanding of LevelField Bank and its objectives, service offerings, operational capabilities, and vision. You will participate in the recruiting of additional talent as the bank grows, seeking exceptional talent to deliver the vision of the bank and capitalize on all opportunities. You will build collaborative relationships with key team members from across the organization.

Your role will include participating in projects and strategic initiatives designed to bring the best of the firm to our customers and team, and to continuously improve the overall experience they both have working with us.

The future business will be a dynamic 24/7 financial workplace. The goal is to eventually establish process and team structure to fulfill around the clock needs and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion Our Brand: Embody LevelField’s innovative culture, fostering trust and enthusiasm for our cutting-edge banking solutions.

  • Drive Team Success: Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. Manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and alignment with company objectives. Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans.

  • Grow an Exceptional Team: Work alongside executive management to oversee the recruitment and selection process to attract, retain, and develop top talent.

  • Gather Insights: Continually assess the organization and team metrics to inform decisions and improve HR processes. Support the development and execution of training and development programs.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep up with employment laws and regulations and ensure compliance.

  • Keep the Organization Moving: Administer employee onboarding and offboarding; employee vacation and PTO plans; medical, dental, vision, and other company benefits; and ensure that job descriptions are correct and up to date.

  • Think Like an Owner: Contribute ideas to improve processes, enhance employee and customer experiences, and drive the bank’s growth.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years human resources industry experience with preferred knowledge of recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, payroll, labor law compliance and employee relations.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Willingness to work flexible working hours, as required.

  • Ability to lead, prioritize and execute on multiple simultaneous priorities and initiatives

  • Ability to thrive in a highly regulated environment that demands full compliance with policies and procedures

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • A team-oriented mindset with a drive to build something extraordinary.

  • BS or BA preferred
