Your Role
We’re seeking a brilliant and professionally polished Board Secretary and Senior Executive Assistant (EA) to support our Executive Chairman and Board of Directors in shaping an industry-leading bank. This high-impact, highly visible role is perfect for someone sharp, proactive, and eager to make a difference in a fast-paced, growing environment.
The ideal candidate will be intellectually curious, excited to dive into the world of digital assets and the banking industry. While prior knowledge of our business isn’t required, a passion for learning is essential. Experience supporting executive management or board members in a banking setting is a plus.
As the Executive Chairman’s right hand, you will represent him both internally and externally, aligning seamlessly with his vision and positive outlook. He is dedicated to building a great bank and loves what he does—your voice and presence should reflect that same energy and cultural fit.
You will engage regularly with board members and key external stakeholders, embodying the bank’s image and values. We need someone who thrives on taking initiative, works well independently, and prioritizes adding value through timely execution. This role is based in our office in Houston with no remote work option. Some travel will be required.
Key Responsibilities
Enhance the Executive Chairman’s efficiency and uphold the company’s image by representing him internally and externally; act as a bridge between him, executives, and staff.
Collaborate with the Executive Chairman and lead external director to prepare board meeting materials and agendas
Attend Board and Board committee meetings, accurately prepare the minutes with the level of detail appropriate for a financial institution, and support committee chairs as needed.
Track major corporate initiatives, working with the Executive Chairman and his team to monitor progress, timelines, and action items.
Attend and document the Executive Chairman’s key meetings, ensuring follow-through on commitments while gaining a deep understanding of our business lines.
Facilitate communication between the Executive Chairman and board members.
Coordinate external corporate events, internal functions, and assist the the Executive Chairman in hosting.
Manage inquiries and meeting requests directed to the Executive Chairman.
Support investor relations efforts alongside the Executive Chairman.
Additional Responsibilities
Schedule meetings, prepare facilities, and arrange travel itineraries, accommodations, and logistics for the Executive Chairman.
Process and approve expense reports on behalf of the Executive Chairman.
Lead or contribute to special projects, working independently or with a team as needed.
Take on other duties to support the broader mission.

Banking experience is a desired, but not required.
