Executive Assistant to CEO

 Your Role

We’re seeking a brilliant and professionally polished Executive Assistant (EA) to support our CEO in shaping an industry-leading firm. This high-impact, highly visible role is perfect for someone sharp, proactive, and eager to make a difference in a fast-paced, growing environment.

The ideal candidate will be intellectually curious, excited to dive into the world of digital assets and the banking industry. While prior knowledge of our business isn’t required, a passion for learning is essential. Experience supporting executive management or board members in a banking setting is a plus.

As the CEO’s right hand, you’ll represent him both internally and externally, aligning seamlessly with his vision and positive outlook. He’s dedicated to building a great bank and loves what he does—your voice and presence should reflect that same energy and cultural fit.

You’ll engage regularly with board members and key external stakeholders, embodying the bank’s image and values. We need someone who thrives on taking initiative, works well independently, and prioritizes adding value through timely execution. Our collaborative leadership team tackles tasks big and small to drive success, and you’ll share that mindset—because every contribution matters here.

This role is based in our office in Houston, with no remote work option. Some travel will be required.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance the CEO’s efficiency and uphold the company’s image by representing him internally and externally; act as a bridge between the CEO, executives, and staff.

  • Collaborate with the CEO and lead external director to prepare board meeting materials and agendas; assist the Corporate Secretary with meeting records and support committee chairs as needed.

  • Track major corporate initiatives, working with the CEO and his team to monitor progress, timelines, and action items.

  • Attend and document executive committee and other key meetings, ensuring follow-through on commitments while gaining a deep understanding of our business lines.

  • Facilitate communication between the CEO and board members.

  • Coordinate external corporate events, internal functions, and assist the CEO in hosting.

  • Manage inquiries and meeting requests directed to the CEO.

  • Support investor relations efforts alongside the CEO.

 Additional Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and ensure our office reflects the company’s high standards.

  • Schedule meetings, prepare facilities, and arrange travel itineraries, accommodations, and logistics.

  • Process and approve expense reports on behalf of the CEO.

  • Lead or contribute to special projects, working independently or with a team as needed.

  • Take on other duties to support the broader mission.

 Qualifications

  • Exceptional emotional intelligence and a standout professional presence.

  • Genuine enthusiasm for being part of a team building something extraordinary.

  • Unwavering integrity, confidentiality, and discretion.

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, paired with active listening.

  • Proactive, adaptable, and focused on delivering results efficiently.

  • Ability to handle last-minute challenges with practical problem-solving.

  • Proven experience preparing meeting materials, agendas, and minutes.

  • Banking experience is a desired, but not required.
